DEFINITION

For the following policy Pacific Laboratory Products - PLP - PacificLab refer as to one company only.

1. ACCEPTANCE

By visiting or buying at Pacific Laboratory Products - PLP - PacificLab website: www.pacificlab.com.au, the user/buyer acknowledges and accepts the content described below under the terms and conditions.

By registering for online shopping at our website or placing orders over the phone/email, the user/buyer agrees to provide personal details such as name, postal address, email address and contact phone number in order to successfully purchase products.

2. DATA SECURITY

Pacific Laboratory Products - PLP - PacificLab takes the necessary precautions in order to protect its data. However, like most companies, Pacific Laboratory Products is unable to guarantee that all information is 100% free of unauthorized access.

Pacific Laboratory Products does not, under any circumstances, trade for profit customer’s information with external parties. However, Pacific Laboratory Products may partner with other firms to act on their behalf, circumstances in which data may be stored remotely. These partners are not allowed to disclose information without previous authorization from Pacific Laboratory Products. Partner companies are expected to respect in full Pacific Laboratory Products privacy policy.

Pacific Laboratory Products - PLP - PacificLab may collect information in order to:

  • To facilitate over the phone/email as well as online purchases through www.pacificlab.com.au. For online orders, users are required to register and logging-in to place orders effectively. When customers place an order with Pacific Laboratory Products either by website, phone or email, basic data is collected such as first and last name, e-mail address, contact phone number, delivery address, company*, job title*, ABN*, website* (*optional).
  • To develop strategies to improve relationships between Pacific Laboratory Products and its customers and/or to serve within the scope of the business. For example, it may involve marketing activities such as email campaigns used to promote the latest promotions, products and news; however, customers are entirely free to opt-out at any time from newsletters simply by unsubscribing (refer to section 6).
  • To comply with local, state and national government regulations for suppliers of laboratory equipment and goods.

 

4. ONLINE AND OVER THE PHONE/EMAIL TRANSACTIONS

Pacific Laboratory Products - PLP - PacificLab does not store credit card details or related billing information used when buying at Pacific Laboratory Products website or over the phone/email. However, information gathered at website checkout is covered following both Pacific Laboratory Products and partners privacy policies. The same practice applies for orders placed over the phone/email as no credit card details are kept.

5. USER INFORMATION UPDATE

Online customers are free to update personal information either at their account page on PacificLab's website, by calling 1800 723 405 or simply contacting enquiry@pacificlab.com.au, an identification check may be required.

6. UNSUBSCRIBE 

When users/buyers receive an unwanted promotional email from Pacific Laboratory Products - PLP - PacificLab, or just desire to stop receiving, they are free to unsubscribe from the mailing list simply by replying (using the registered email address if known) with the subject line UNSUBSCRIBE to marketing@pacificlab.com.au

7. DATA CHANGE OF OWNER

In the event that Pacific Laboratory Products is sold and acquired by an external owner/firm, information may eventually be transferred to the new company/owner, in that particular case, Pacific Laboratory Products will do the best efforts to inform customers about the transition.

8. WITHDRAW

If users/buyers disagree with the above Privacy Policy, they are welcome to request to delete their account along with their information at anytime, simply by sending a request to enquiry@pacificlab.com.au
